The day to travel “beramai-ramai” to Singapore is finally here. Everyone was all packed and ready to go. My bus was at 9pm, so I got sufficient time to grab dinner and shower before heading down to Singapore. The only regret I had was not able to say goodbye to Reuben. If he was to see JJ and me leaving, he would have started crying!

Much to my surprise, the bus was very spacious!

The bus stopped at Yong Peng for a 30minutes break. Guess who I met here…

A Singapore actor! I don’t even know his name. But I’m sure you can recognize him. He acted in most of Jack Neo’s movies.

Finally, we reached Singapore at 6am, we were picked up by friendly Singaporeans from CHC Singapore to our respective hostels.

The hostel I stayed was opposite the Singapore Botanical Garden. That became our meeting point everyday. Patrick, the hostel leader was giving instructions.

Finally, we’re there! Expo Hall!! This place is huge!! My first thought was, how did a small island came up with such facilities? Impressive!

What is even more impressive, the CHC Singapore people were having bible study at the busiest place of the day! Respect man..

What I am really impressed about this conference was the host provided meals to all the overseas delegates for free!! I’ve been to many Church conferences but I’ve never seen such generosity before!

Asia Conference’s opening ceremony was a blast! It’s like those Cuti-Cuti Malaysia kind of parade but better!!!

Besides the world class speakers who were there to preach, the electives were something which I looked forward to. Those speakers were humble and down to earth! I only attended 4 electives throughout the conference. I find “effective parenting” and “starting your own business” really good.

This are the time when everyone became a student again. Almost everyone in the conference noted down what the speakers preached. I brought my laptop along for this so that I can type faster and not missing a single note! Let me know if you need those, I can share it with you.

Saturday morning was pretty much on our own and since we had to get to expo by MRT, we went to Orchard Road which was just few blocks away. The christmas deco were all up!!
