Trip to Farm In The City

Trip to Farm In The City

Farm In The City is definitely the place to visit if you love animals. Together with few friends, I took my boy along and we had fun discovering different species of animals. This place allows visitors to have close viewing/interactions with the animals. In fact the only animals that are behind cage and out of reach are the harmful ones.

Located in Seri Kembangan, I didn’t even realize they have this place behind Giant hypermarket and rows of shoplots. But as we got near to the place, it looks pretty cool.

Feeding Tortoise

Kids will definitely love this. The tortoise are 30 years old and kids are allowed to feed them. Definitely a good experience for city kids if they’ve never seen a real tortoise before.

Pat the pet

Besides the tortoise, there are many other animals that kids are allowed to remain in close proximity to them and play with them.
Feeding Hamster

One of the main attraction is the “Longkang Fishing” where there is a small drain with fishes in it for fishing. Not easy to catch them though. I guess the fishes must have gotten used to visitors trying to catch them everyday.

The place is also nicely done with nice landscape, pond and trees.

They also have various types and species of birds here.

That was me trying to feed the bird.

There’s a really nice huge pond for fish feeding.

Fish food. As you can see, the fishes are fighting for food

Below are photos of some of the other animals in the farm

Green Frog

Few other attractions like world’s smallest species of horse, world’s rarest white crow, world’s second smallest kangaroo, etc. Admission wise, for MyKad holders, it cost RM28 for an adult, RM 23 for Children, RM 19 for senior citizens. I reckon this is much better than visiting Zoo Negara.

Interested? They are located at Lot 40187~40188, Jalan Prima Tropika Barat, Bandar Putra Permai, Seri Kembangan, 43300 Selangor . More info available on their Facebook page.
